1960–1967

1. Returning as a Superstar

After completing his military service, Elvis returned to the United States in 1960. The music world had been waiting for him. With chart-topping hits such as "It's Now or Never" and "Are You Lonesome Tonight?", he immediately celebrated new international successes.
